Josh Knight
CEO & Founder
Josh is passionate about helping youth in our community fulfill their greatest potential and dreams. With compassion and dedication, he leads the Wasatch Ascent Project to support kids in need as well as enjoys educating kids on college and career readiness. Outside of volunteering, Josh enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and playing or watching sports.
Camden Van Tassell
CFO & Founder
Camden is passionate about educating youth on college and the potential they have to become something great. With an outgoing personality and desire to make a difference, he volunteers weekly at YMCA schools as well as manages the financial efforts at Wasatch Ascent Project. Outside of volunteering, Camden enjoys cars, volleyball, Newport Beach, and spending time with his family and Miniature Schnauzer, Rover.
Boyd Griffiths
COO & Founder
Boyd is passionate about inspiring and equipping the next generation with the skills and knowledge for them to succeed. With a drive for growth and improvement he leads the day to day operations of the Wasatch Ascent Project. He is also actively engaged with teaching and volunteering with the youth. Outside of the Wasatch Ascent Project, Boyd enjoys time spent with family, in the outdoors and on the lake.

Alexis Vigil
Digital Marketing Manager
Alexis is deeply passionate about giving back, a desire rooted in her own impactful experiences during elementary school. These formative moments inspired her commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others. With a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for helping people succeed, Alexis plays a key role at Wasatch Ascent. Outside of her volunteer work, she enjoys watching movies, traveling, and nurturing her collection of indoor plants.
Madison Hawkins
Digital Marketing Manager
Madison grew up in this community and is passionate about giving back by promoting college opportunities to local youth. With experience mentoring young people, she has guided students in developing leadership skills and building confidence to pursue higher education. Outside of volunteering, Madison enjoys traveling and exploring new places.
Outreach Team
Kody Korth
Community Outreach Manager
As an aspiring pediatrician, Kody has found great joy in serving and being with children. He was a member of “Elementoring” through Weber State and continues to volunteer with kids through the YMCA. Kody serves as the outreach manager, planning and coordinating activities and events with the Wasatch Ascent Project. Kody loves to learn and loves making connections. In his free time, Kody can be found on the Golf Course working/playing, at home snuggling his puppy Eevie, or blasting music throughout the house.
Donations and Drives Team
Oakley James
Charitable Relations Manager
Oakley was raised along the Wasatch Front by a mother who is an elementary school teacher and is now married to one, fostering a deep appreciation for education and community support. With experience in volunteer coordination, fundraising, and leadership, he helps organize donation drives and manage financial records to support Wasatch Ascent Project’s initiatives. Outside of volunteering, Oakley enjoys trail running, rock climbing, and exploring the outdoors.
